Sim took the kids swimming. I have the whole house to myself!! updating my site and off to make some sets of beads. He took me out to dinner last night. It was nice. Very quiet without the kids. lol. we dont do that often. i felt like a bad mommy cos i really didnt feel like going home. We went to a sporting goods store to look for some gym shoes for Rico. We couldnt find a thing in his size. 
he wears a size 15 so….ugh. we did a lil christmas shopping, too. lol parents….we go out for a night alone and end up thinking and doing for the kids. lol. i did manage to buy myself some head pins for the jewelry. So we got home and back to the chaos. A boy down the street spent the night so video games were blaring, computers were blasting, and my daughter was watching a movie so the tv in the living room was blaring. i crawled into my bed and watched Most Haunted and tried to ignore the noise. Didn’t work. Some kids came over to see Tashi and Jordan and they sat on the front porch laughing and talking until i called their cells and told em to come on in. all the sudden, silence. THAT makes me nervous…silence in a house full of kids. lol. but they were all tuckered out and falling asleep. ahhh silence. lol
jordan’s hand was actually broken in 4 places. I don’t really understand how or why but he has continued going to wrestling practice and even played in the annual football game here on Thanksgiving. It looks a lot better. I will be surprised if the doc doesn’t give him the all clear next week.
A friend asked me to make a kitten bead and a black lab dog bead. i did it! i think they are both adorable and will be posting pics tomorrow. Seems like sculpted beads are getting to be my “thing” around here. I like doing them, don’t get me wrong, but, they are pretty tedious. Especially on a HotHead torch.
I made some sugar frit. I raided my kitchen again and found a nice deep spoon to put it in to roll the bead in frit. Hoping to get started on some sugar beads today, too.

Jordan broke his hand in 3 places. he fell down a little hill that was rained on…wind was blowing about 80mph that day. ugh!! he is worried that this will end his wrestling and football ….i dont think so. he goes to the orthopedic surgeon in 2 weeks for an evaluation. either the soft cast comes off and he is free, or a hard cast will be put on, or surgery.
so, yeah, wrapping up kids in bubble wrap. my daughter wont look too cute in it on her sweet sixteen party saturday but oh well. lol

It’s been a busy month! Football for the little ones ended. My two high school boys still had games. Jordan played JV and Varsity. Rico played freshman C-squad. I always worry about Jordan more bc he runs the ball. Rico blocks but he is a big dude so I never worried too much about him. 3 minutes left in the season for Rico and BAM! he got hit from behind in a dirty hit. It was terrifying. He was having seizures so off to the local rootypoot hospital for him. Then off to Tacoma to the Children’s hospital. He was in ICU and had a lot of seizures. Test after test showed a severe concussion. After 4 nights we got to go home. I was so tired and had a lot of things to catch up on so beads took a backseat for a bit. Thankfully, all is well and I am busy making beads again. woohoo!!! I am almost finished with a nice lil set of Christmas beads. Not sure if I will put em on ebay or on my site. I am also finishing up a really cool necklace. The focal bead is about 1.5 inches long, it is made of a silvered glass with aqua blue transparent lava lamp looking center. The accent beads are silvered and aqua transparent. I think its cool. I have a ton of ideas but so little time. (((sigh))

I have put up a really cool necklace. I think it would be perfect for that special guy.
It is waaaaay different from the cutesy lil sculpted beads I have been doing. I will be adding a Christmas set in the next couple of days too. Not sure yet if I am going to make a necklace from it or just sell it as a set for you to make your own jewelry from. decisions decisions. lol
I have a couple of really cool florals that I have been inspired by. I got some beautiful sterling silver chain to put them on…waiting for that (((pow!!))) moment when I just know for sure what to design with it.
Well, off to the torch. Hope you like the Industry chain that I put up.
